Blogging

Blogging is a tool that can be used for many things.  Blogging is where you write entries and add materials to a web based journal. Blogging is something that can be used for many different reasons. It could be used in a classroom for lectures or to get the students engaged in the lecture, used for exchange programs, it can be used for someone keeping track and voicing their opionions on certain subjects; say for example a journal of a book.

If I were to use blogging in a classroom, I would manage it into part of my lesson by teaching a certain subject, and then having the students go on and use the technology and blog about what they thought on the topic, what they think it enforces, and whether or not it interested them. I then would be able to go on and read their thoughts and opinions, and give marks.

Say for example if I was to use blogging in a grade four- five classroom,teaching the subject health, and the  topic self esteem,I would be able to teach the lesson, and then have the students go on and make a blog about the person they would like to be.

I think my students would benefit by using a blog because they are learning about the technology today that we have, meanwhile being able to voice their thoughts and opinions and be themselves by writing about who and what they would  like to be/become.
