Garageband

Garage Band is a program which allows anyone to make music. Inspires students to become musicians allowing them to look around and explore all the different kinds of tunes out there! There are many different types of music to listen to and then you are able to go and make your own piece of music. It is interesting as you can be very creative in your music making!

I would use this in a classroom by getting the students to go and make their own piece of music. Allowing them the opportunity to make something from a music instrument of which they are interested in. It allows them to go and make their own piece and gives you an interesting take on the tunes they have made! This would go well with the Evergreen Curriculum for grade eight with a subject of music and a topic of the music and principles.
