Web Page

A webpage is a website that is on the internet, that is made up of different topics, and can be viewed or made by anyone.

Here is a link to a website example that I made in class.

Websites could be useful for students as they could go on and get information from a informational website, or you could even use them in the classroom with older students by getting them to make a website of their own on something that interests them and would be useful for someone else to view. By getting them to do  this, you are getting them involved and they are learning more about technology by doing the work themselves. This could be an interesting project as you could see what kinds of designs and talents come out of the students.

An example from the evergreen curriculum you could use web pages  in the grade five classroom, with a subject of Health, and a topic of HIV/AIDS. You could get them to go and make a website on this.

I think students would benefit from this because they would be doing the hands on work themselves, and learning about how to make a webpage.
